AKA-JIG jig machines are used to separate impurities from raw materials and industrial wastes in accordance to their density differences.

Principle of Operation

Pulsating water is used to clean and loosen bulk material with grain sizes ranging up to 35 mm. This stratifies the material according to its density. The heavy components accumulate in the lower layers whereas the light materials migrate to the surface. According to the different feed material properties the stroke frequency and the amplitude of pulsation can be continuously adjusted.
