DMS-DS 80® is our ultra-low chloride, environmentally friendly, low-cost dust suppression, soil stabilization, and ice control polymer. Compatible with all types of soils, but with better performance for silty soils with low water retention.
Our formulation contains organic polymers derived from agricultural processes with nano-polymers that together generate a dust-free, stable, and water-resistant path. Our product has a very low dose of chlorides, which is not corrosive, nor does it increase the salinity of the soil or nearby water bodies.
The product strongly reduces the watering needs of the road and is applied at a dose of 25% to 30% of the chloride salts, with one to two monthly maintenance watering for highly trafficked roads, and every four months for roads with little traffic. This reduces the need for transport and storage of the product.
RECOMMENDED USES
Forest roads, municipal, industrial, subway mining, coal piles, stockpiles, and tailings dams. Recommended for applications in silty and sandy soils.
APPLICATION PROCESS AND DOSAGE
Dust Control and Stabilization:
• Mining roads:
Initial Application: 1L/M2 of DMS-DS 80 + 1 L of water.
Emulsion: 2L/m2 to be applied in 2 to 3 passes.
Maintenance: 0,1 a 0,2 L/m2 con 1 L of water per month, according to monitoring results, to be applied in 2 passes.
• Industrial roads: Rates of 0,2-0,5 L/M2 mixes with 1 L of water. Total, emulsion: 1,4 L/m2 to be applied in two passes. Duration of the suppressive affect: 4 months.
Maintenance: 0,05-0,2 L mixed with 0,75 L of water.
• Ice Control: The product is applied without water to avoid ice formation on the road. The product modifies the water freezing temperature down to -30C.
Topical application rate: 0,20 L/m2.
