SAFDY Systems' new air velocity sensor is designed for fast and accurate airflow monitoring in underground mines.

The VA316B airflow sensor monitors air movement and quality, to track the level of contaminants and toxic substances. Before the air reaches a level that could be harmful to workers, extractor fans are activated to increase the level of fresh air and ventilate the mine.
