Sofi Filter: Self-Cleaning Microfilter from 1μm

Sofi Filtration, together with the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Aalto University of Finland, has developed a new type of dynamic cross-flow filter which goes under the commercial brand name Sofi Filter. Sofi Filter separates fine solid particles from large water streams. These kinds of waters are difficult to treat with traditional methods as the fine particles do not settle by gravity and bag filters plug fast, losing their permeability.
