AusProof Capability Statement
By AusProofCreativity, innovation, and a passion for exploring the unknown of electrical cable coupler design and development are key components of AusProof’s DNA. Operating in Australia as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for nearly 30 years, AusProof also benefits from Founding Director Philip Marks’ 20 years of prior professional experience, this combination resulting in AusProof’s current line-up of high-quality, reliable and safe products. AusProof’s internal Research and Development powerhouse is constantly looking for new issues within the industry to tackle, new products to design and new ways to improve existing ones, with a priority focus on safety and efficiency. Offering both high and low-voltage couplers, plugs and receptacles in aluminium and stainless steel options, AusProof’s products are suitable for use in underground and open-cut mines, metalliferous mines, and pumps and tunnel excavation projects.
A family-owned and operated business located in Gladstone, Queensland, on-site facilities allow for the dedicated assembly and in-house testing of all available products. AusProof makes it a point to be aware of the materials that are used when designing and developing each and every product, and the sustainability impact of those materials. Being able to recycle these materials when and where necessary is important to AusProof, such as using aluminium, a 100% recyclable material, in their products. AusProof has invested heavily in its foundry and manufacturing processes in order to reduce any emissions and capture or reuse heat from its furnaces.
