Leading materials wet processing equipment and engineering company CDE will be showcasing 25 years of international expertise to Bolivian mine and quarry operators at Bolivia Mining Expo 2017 in La Paz from 10 to 13 August 2017.
The CDE Latin America team will showcase the latest modular equipment for wet processing that can be applied in mining and sand and aggregates applications. The team will also present its high tech tailings management systems, which are successfully used in mines to reduce the necessity for water usage and to efficiently manage tailings. Benefiting from a prime geographical position in Latin America, which allows for convenient trade routes, Bolivia is one of the main producers of tin, antimony, and bismuth in the world. The mineral sector still remaining the beating heart of its economy, Bolivia’s economic growth is set to continue at a steady pace.
As Bolivia’s mineral production and export market occupies a prime position in the country’s economic priorities, minerals represent a staggering 20% of the Bolivian export market, La Paz therefore appears as the natural location to introduce the best and most innovative equipment for mines and quarries to the 20,000 visitors expected at the event.
With the Bolivian mining and construction industries showing healthy signs of consistent growth, there is no better time to look to new ways of processing minerals and sand and aggregates for end products of higher quality whilst saving water, energy and money. CDE’s best sellers on the global market include the EvoWash sand washing plant and the AquaCycle water thickener. The EvoWash sand washing plant can produce up to 250t of material an hour and up to two products at the same time, whilst the AquaCycle recycles up to 90% of used water, allowing for maximum dewatering and a product ready to be sold directly from the belt.
CDE boasts the successful completion of more than 1,000 wet processing projects globally, including the largest sand washing plant in the world in Qatar, which processes 1,200t/h of dune sand. The company brings to the table a portfolio of 29 successful projects across Latin America (iron ore, graphite, sand and aggregates) where it has been helping mining and sand and aggregates producers to maximise their operations.
CDE Latin America regional manager Bruno Paladino says: "CDE has been completing projects in more than ten countries across Latin America, with unique customised solutions for each customer and with a variety of applications that shows the versatility of our equipment range.
"CDE is fast growing its footprint in Latin America due to a dedicated team that speaks the local language and understands the particularities of market, working on a partnership basis from the first contact with the client through to the on-site start up, and also providing comprehensive support at the after-sales stage.
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to exhibit at the UK Trade and Investment Department’s area in the UK Pavilion at Bolivia Mining Expo 2017. We look forward to discussing efficient wet processing solutions with mining and sand and aggregates operators for them to optimise their businesses."
