After the startling success of the initial Verderflex Dura range of peristaltic pumps, GPM Pumps is delighted to announce the launch of the Verderflex Dura 35 as the latest addition to this ground breaking Verderflex Dura range of hose pumps.
The Verderflex Dura range is a genuine advancement in peristaltic pump technology. It has the following benefits:
- Longer hose lives
- Less frequent and shorter downtime
- Saving space
- Using less power
- Being more economical to run
Peristaltic pumps with continuous flow rate
Up until now, you couldn’t get a Dura that could pump more than 450gal/hr (1,700l/hr) but now things are getting bigger and better. The new Dura 35 delivers a maximum continuous flow rate of 840gal/hr or 3,180l/hr at pressures up to 230psi or 16bar. Weighing just 125kg and taking up to 70% less floor space than similar pumps, the Dura 35 will free up vital working areas to replace more outdated technology.
Featuring advances in component design to reduce maintenance time and ease installation, the Dura 35 removes the need for specially trained engineers, reducing plant costs and increasing profits.
Exhibiting at WEFTEC
Already exhibited at Achema in Germany, Pollutec in France and soon at POWTEX in Japan, GPM is delighted to be exhibiting the pump this year at WEFTEC in Florida in hall B stand 4435.
Duncan Brown, sales manager for Verderflex says: “I’m very excited about the new addition of the Dura 35 to the range. We have seen massive success with our existing Dura products and now we have taken another step in revolutionising hose pumps. We are adding further models to the range soon so that more industries can enjoy the many benefits of Verderflex Dura pumps.”
Looking to the future, the range will be expanded to include even larger pumps, replacing outdated technology and bringing a greater pump choice to the heaviest of industrial pumping areas.
Features and benefits of the Dura hose pump
Dura has fewer system components than other peristaltic pumps, reducing downtime with a novel drive configuration that requires much less space. Running at a significantly lower operating temperature than equivalent pumps, hose life is improved by up to 40%.
Dura offers greater reliability over other pumps due to its rigid drive connection. The rotor is mounted directly over the bearings, so there is no overhung load, further reducing the number of parts in what is already a very simple and elegant design. The rotor has been designed so that it requires no shims, simplifying installation and reducing the Dura’s overall power consumption.
Dura 35 is designed so that the drive is mounted on a torque arm and totally isolated from the housing. There is an air gap between pump casing and gearbox, which protects both the pump lubricant, inside casing and the drive’s gearbox. They can never cross contaminate and there is no need to remove the drive when servicing the pump.
A one-piece taper lock flange connection speeds up hose changes and the universal slotted connection offers a one size fits all solution, meeting the requirements of ANSI, JIS and PN16, improving part availability. Dura also offers health and safety benefits in the form of quieter action and drive configuration.
