Grindex, a world leader in electrical submersible pumps, exhibited at Conexpo in Las Vegas, Nevada, US, exhibiting the latest product releases from Grindex and the innovative digital tool based on augmented reality. The tool equips users with X-ray vision of the products and with state-of-the-art tools like this, Grindex reaffirms its leading market position within submersible drainage pumps and pumping accessories.

The Augmented reality app was launch during Bauma in 2016 and gave the customers a total new experience in looking at Grindex product features and innovations.

With this new app all our valued distributors and resellers will have a unified base for presenting Grindex products.

"Grindex is giving all partners the same technical information and we believe this will be of magnificent use in informing end users and service personnel worldwide, and together with sustainability work as a day-to day priority we see that this digital tool makes less impact than a physical cut-away pump that has to be shipped around the world," says Andreas Malmport, managing director for Grindex.

Furthermore, Grindex will demonstrate at the exhibition, the new Milli pump, which enables low suction down to only a few millimeters. Grindex Milli, a low-suction version built on the well-established and proven drainage pump Micro. The Micro and Milli share all the main components and functions for the wear parts. Adding a non-return valve to the hydraulic parts to prevent a backflow, the Milli can pump down to a level as low as a few millimeters.

Grindex Milli will solve a major issue with water in application areas where you need to empty an area completely. This pump will be a success for the construction business, for fire brigades and for other incidental users where you need a pump to empty areas. Milli fills a gap in our product portfolio that our customers have requested, says Dan Schaffer, general manager, Grindex US.
