Gemecs is pleased to announce its successful acquisition of HFProjects.
HFprojects is an independent Mine consulting company, owned by Hein Fourie. Hein Fourie will join the Gemecs team on a full time basis from 1 March 2012. He has over 15 years experience in mine design, modelling, planning and production scheduling.
This will allow Gemecs to increase its level of service delivery to its current and future clients by adding the following services:
- Reserve models
- Mining models
- Mine designs
- Life of mine planning
- Short term detailed production scheduling
Hein will also be appointed as a director of Gemecs with the responsibility of Mine design and planning.
We are also pleased to announce the appointment of Kobus Dippenaar as director of Gemecs from 1 March 2012.
Kobus has been part of the Gemecs team since 2010. His appointment will make a positive contribution to the management of Gemecs and our professional service delivery.
