Fresh from a record October sales month, fabric shelter manufacturer DomeShelter Australia has bolstered its senior ranks with the appointment of a new Sales Manager. Ms Tamara Awudu.
Tamara has extensive experience in sales performance management with the last 12 years spent working internationally in senior management positions across commercial property, oil & gas and mining and industrial sectors.
Tamara will be responsible for leadership of the sales departments within the business and will contribute to the overall growth strategy; helping the business to achieve further success within the Australian and International marketplace.
Moving into new markets in Latin America and continuing expansion across Africa and Middle East, the team at DomeShelter Australia is confident of a significant increase in sales and a ‘smoothing’ of the sales cycle within the Australian mining market.
Many of the new export markets have never been exposed to the company’s dome shaped Fabric Structure and so there is a degree of education required. Traditional steel sheds and corrugated iron roofs between sea containers are often the norm in these countries.
The DomeShelter™ Fabric Structure has wide appeal in the mining market for its versatility, durability, speed of delivery, installation and demobilisation. It has become the workshop and warehouse of choice by most of the leading mining company’s in Australia. Recent sales into the mining sector in Argentina and Europe are the result of significant work to open those markets to the company’s innovative shelter solutions.
Tamara is looking forward to working with a great team to continue to grow the company internationally.
