simalube is an automatic lubricator which is used in mining, concrete, cement, stone, gravel, chalk, limestone and coal plants.
Automatic lubricators for mining machines
With the use of simalube automatic lubricators, maintenance costs at plants are significantly reduced. By continuously dispensing lubricant, simalube extends the life of bearings, chains, guides, gears and many other parts, meaning that manual lubrication is no longer necessary.
Reduction of mining machine hazards and accidents
After the installation of simalube lubricators, the amount of time that employees spend in dangerous zones is significantly reduced. Dangerous and difficult-to-reach lubrication points are continuously supplied with lubricant from a simalube lubricator. This eliminates periodic manual lubrication procedures and therefore exposes staff to less dust and noise emissions, and the chance of encountering rotating equipment.
As mechanical components last longer and need to be replaced less often, employee safety is significantly improved and efficiency of the facilities is increased.
Lubrication for mining applications
Using simalube increases reliability of systems, including handling systems and applications such as belt tensioners, fan systems, vehicle stability systems and motors, screens, silos and silo-hatches, sliding bolsters, crushers, conveyor systems, blending bed, rotary kilns, mills, fans, pumps, bagging and palletising.
The simalube is screwed directly to the lubrication point instead of into the grease nipple. In the temperature range from -20°C to +55°C, simalube lubricates automatically for up to 12 months. The desired time can be adjusted continuously on the lubricator.
simlalube is powered by a dry cell, so the gas produced by the cell builds up pressure behind the piston in the lubricator, which pushes the lubricant automatically and evenly into the lubrication point. The simalube works upside down and even underwater.
Lubrication process and monitoring
Thanks to its design, installation is possible in constrained spaces and under dangerous conditions and its transparent housing allows the lubrication process to be monitored at all times.
The hermetically-sealed system prevents the contamination of dirt, comes with a comprehensive range of accessories for easy installation and lubrication solutions and has several safety certificates, including EX, GS and FM.
The simalube lubricator can be easily switched off, lubricators are refillable and are available in four sizes: 30ml, 60ml, 125ml and 250ml.
