The largest financial newspaper in Scandinavia, Dagens Industri, interviewed SPT general manager Orlando Ramírez on a range of subjects regarding the company’s growth since its inception and the cutting-edge technology in downhole surveying that helped rescuers find the 33 trapped miners in the San José mine in Chile.
Swedish TV channel TV4 also covered the news about the trapped miners. Orlando Ramírez briefly explained the functioning of the SPT north-seeking GyroTracer during the rescue operations, and the importance of accuracy and precision when surveying boreholes during directional drilling operations.
