As the MSR products are being applied to safeguard mine personnel it has become crucial to our clients that the MSR is operationally available for the maximum possible time. Reutech Mining has identified operational availability as an essential and crucial component in the MSR offering to our clients.
The definition of Ao is the time that the user has live useable data available to make safety decisions. Reutech Mining has committed itself to constantly improve the Ao of all systems.
The following statistics prove that our continuous improvement programme is achieving great successes:
- Global average Ao on all systems measured over the last 15 months were 97.4%
- Global average Ao on all systems measured over the last 9 months were 98.2%
- Global average Ao on all systems measured over the last 6 months were 98.6%
- Global average Ao on all systems measured over the last 3 months were 99%
This was achieved WITHOUT the requirement to have a full time technician on any of the MSR mines. We are therefore not only improving the availability of our equipment but also provide a significant support cost saving to our clients.
