The Advanced Geosciences Europe Combined Three-Day Resistivity Imaging Short Course will be held in Madrid, Spain, on 19-21 October 2011.
The Resistivity Imaging Short Course is designed for professionals currently involved in conducting imaging surveys, wishing to acquire this expertise, those involved in the management, oversight or review of imaging surveys, and those seeking in-depth understanding of 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D resistivity imaging methods.
This short course will cover theory, data acquisition, field procedures, data processing, data presentation and interpretation, forward modeling, inversion, 2D and 3D survey design issues, and hands-on practice on how to process surface data, borehole data, underwater data, and continuous resistivity profiling data, 3D data, time-lapse monitoring data, large 3D data sets and noisy data.
