A six-week trial of SAFEmine’s Traffic Awareness and Collision Avoidance System was conducted at a surface coal mine in British Columbia, Canada.

The overall results of the trial were positive with feedback from operators indicating that the system was effective in significantly increasing awareness of light vehicles near heavy equipment. Results will be presented December 6, 2012, at the Northwest Mining Association Conference in Spokane, WA.
