Oxifree Global has appointed Marcus Yap as business development manager, to support its growth in the Asia Pacific region.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Marcus joins with more than 11 years’ experience in sales and business development, and will lead the company in developing current and future opportunities across a range of industries, particularly in oil and gas.
Having previously worked as an Oxifree distributor in Asia, Marcus is already well-versed in the market and the benefits and transferability of Oxifree across the energy sector. He is responsible for securing and supporting new license distributors, with a key focus for the year being to develop new partnerships in China.
"Joining Oxifree made perfect sense to me," explains Marcus. "As a distributor of its protective coatings for two years, I have first-hand knowledge of its products, which provide a long-term solution to the challenges of corrosion and contamination."
