PHOENIX Process Equipment of Louisville, Kentucky, has announced an expanded line of model WX belt filter presses. The model WX is available in several different configurations, each suited to the specific application. Many of its design features were selected particularly for rugged mining and aggregate installations.
The basic configuration includes a fully welded mainframe, oversized bearings and unique corrosion protection features. The number of pressure rollers required depends on the sludge or slurry characteristics. Belt width is available in several increments up to 3m. Pneumatic belt tracking is featured and all models are designed for continuous, automatic operation.
Applications include coal refuse, aggregate tailings, pulp and paper effluent, food process waste, municipal water/wastewater and dredged sediments.
