SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH (July 8, 2004) – Dorr-Oliver Eimco has received significant orders totaling US$6.5 million for advanced mineral filter press technology.
Orders include:
Three AFP M1500x108 chamber units to Taiyuan Iron in Shanxi province China to filter iron ore concentrate. This installation will feature the rolling cross head closing system. Each filter will produce 200 mtph (ds) at less than 9 wt% moisture.
One AFP M1500x77 chamber system to Erdenet in Mongolia to filter copper concentrate. The contract includes one additional system in the future. This complete system supply contract includes the rolling cross head, air compressors, filter feed pumps, water pump, all automatic valves and instruments associated with fully automatic operation. Operating costs will be monitored via the PLC system. Each filter will produce 45 mtph (ds) at less than 10% moisture.
One AFP M1200x50 chamber unit for Anglo–American’s Namakua Sands project in South Africa to filter Gypsum. The filter features long stroke cylinders for rapid cake discharge. The fast filtering gypsum can be dewatered very economically with Dorr-Oliver Eimco’s fast cycling AFP Mineral Filter.
These new orders demonstrate the confidence the Mineral Processing Industry has in Dorr-Oliver Eimco’s Automatic Filter Press technology.
