CiDRA has announced the creation of a wholly owned Canadian subsidiary, CiDRA Oilsands, to provide complete product and service solutions to the oilsands industry in western Canada.
On June 28, 2008, CiDRA announced plans to address the company’s continued expansion of its oilsands business in the Athabasca region of Alberta, Canada, through a newly created subsidiary corporation, CiDRA Oilsands.
Since it began serving the oilsands industry in 2003, CiDRA has successfully launched a series of innovative products and services, based on SONARtrac® and SMARTring™ technologies, which have been tailored to meet the unique challenges of its customers involved in surface mining operations. These solutions are specifically designed to help customers increase plant and process predictability, increase operating efficiencies and enhance resource sustainability.
“The creation of our Canadian subsidiary reflects CiDRA’s ongoing commitment to our customers in Ft. McMurray,” says John Viega, vice president and general manager of CiDRA Oilsands.
“CiDRA continues to invest in infrastructure, resources and innovative solutions that help drive reliability and efficiencies in operations for our customer-partners,” Mr Viega added.
To further our commitment to this region, CiDRA has also built an experienced and responsive service and support team based in Ft. McMurray, as well as regional sales operations in Calgary.
