The KS-QEI is the top award for quality from the Korean Standards Association (KSA).
This is the 13th consecutive year the company’s Delkor batteries have been listed.

Some of our most notable innovations include the production of the Delkor automotive batteries, which use our patented grid technology PowerFrame®, and provides excellent starting power, higher cycling capability and reliability.
The PowerFrame® manufacturing process requires 20% less energy and produces 20% fewer greenhouse gases than alternative production methods. The grid technology used in PowerFrame® received the Clean Air Award from the EPA in 2006 for the reduction of CO2 in the air.
The Delkor Commercial HD batteries have been designed specifically to cope with the harsh mining environment using thicker plates for added strength, a higher density active material for stronger cycling performance and anchor bonding to help withstand the vibrations.
Johnson Controls Delkor Battery Corporation is also the first automotive battery maker in Korea to supply MF (Maintenance Free) battery. Our Delkor AGM batteries have been used as the benchmark product in the industry for advanced Start-Stop vehicles with regenerative braking systems.
