Holcim once again chose a Loesche Mill and ordered a LM 56.4 for their cement plant in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Loesche will deliver one vertical roller mill for cement raw material grinding type LM 56.4 for the cement plant Guayaquil of Holcim Ecuador. The Chinese general contractor Sinoma-TJ (CBMI), who will supply a 4’500 tpd kiln line, placed the order for the vertical roller mill at Loesche GmbH.
The mill will be operated to grind cement raw material and has been designed for a capacity of 386 t/h and a fineness of 12 % R 0,09 mm. The mill motor capacity will be 4,000 kW.
For Holcim an important fact in favor of this Loesche mill was the realization of a unification concept.
This concept is based on interchangeability of the mill modules as well as of the gearboxes which will be identical to the existing Loesche cement mill Type LM 56.3+3. Holcim will benefit from spare part pooling. The cement mill is in operation in Guayaquil since 2010.
Delivery is planned at the end of 2013.
