Position Partners is pleased to announce that users of AllDayRTK, the company’s Continuously Operating Reference Station (CORS) network, now have increased availability thanks to the addition of 134 more sites, the majority throughout Queensland.
To enable wider access to reliable positioning services throughout metro and regional areas, Position Partners is working with Geoscience Australia, along with privately owned infrastructure, to expand network coverage throughout the country.
“Our work with businesses and the government to expand network infrastructure is about helping to deliver the backbone of future positioning information systems in this country across industry, government and the wider community,” said Martin Nix, CEO of Position Partners.
In the last three months alone, Position Partners increased access in the network with the addition of some 134 sites, 114 of which are thanks to its partnership with Geoscience Australia. Almost 80 of the new CORS locations are in Queensland, from Tweed Heads on the NSW border right up to Cairns in the state’s far north.
“With new locations throughout Queensland totalling 177 in that state as well as 778 Australia wide, AllDayRTK is now available to even more users than ever before, with more sites being added to the network weekly,” said James Millner, GNSS Infrastructure Manager at Position Partners.
Access to the AllDayRTK network is offered via several subscription options, depending on the user’s requirements. A free 30-day trial is also available to all new users, with no obligation to continue service after the trial ends.
“We recently launched our new customer website, enabling users to view and manage their subscriptions, see live network status via an interactive map, access reports, manage alerts and more,” Mr Millner added.
