Rajant Corporation, the pioneer of Kinetic Mesh Networks and provider of proven, multi-frequency mesh networking solutions, will showcase its Kinetic Mesh Networking technology at MINExpo International 2012 from September 24-26, 2012 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (South Hall, booth #21077).
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to see all of Rajant’s flexible, scalable networking solutions, and also get an early look at the newest addition to the company’s family of BreadCrumb network nodes. The Rajant BreadCrumb ME4 is a lightweight, portable, ruggedized wireless transceiver that offers new levels of power and flexibility to Rajant Kinetic Mesh networks. With 802.11a/b/g and n compatibility, gigabit Ethernet, a faster processor, smaller form factor, and competitive pricing, the BreadCrumb ME4 is the ideal mesh transceiver solution for a wide range of demanding deployments. Also at MINExpo, Rajant will also unveil its Tactical Radio over Internet Protocol (TRoIP), a wearable BreadCrumb-headset combination that brings robust plug-and-play, push-to-talk voice connectivity to Rajant BreadCrumbs.
"Mining today is as reliant upon data and voice networking as it is on the shovel and haul truck," noted Rajant CEO Robert Schena. "Efficient, productive and safe mining operations require extreme reliability in extreme conditions, and Rajant Kinetic Mesh Networks are increasingly relied upon by discerning mines that require a fully mobile, scalable and reliable platform for all mining applications. We’re taking advantage of the industry’s preeminent event, MINExpo, to debut the new BreadCrumb ME4 transceiver that fundamentally changes the landscape for emerging wireless technologies."
Rajant’s solutions are based on the proven BreadCrumb® wireless, portable mesh networking nodes and InstaMesh packet routing software which reliably provide data, video and voice communications in some of the largest and most productive open pit and underground mines in the world. Rajant BreadCrumb nodes, combined with InstaMesh software enable continuous and instantaneous routing of wireless and wired connections. This dynamic frequency utilization capability allows for total network mobility – Kinetic Meshing – as well as robust fault tolerance, high throughput and low latency.
The range of applications supported by Kinetic Mesh Networking is virtually unlimited – from voice, video and data, fleet management, condition monitoring, high precision drilling and excavating and gas well monitoring.
Rajant’s proven portfolio of networking solutions are widely deployed, providing flexible and reliable network connectivity in the mining, oil & gas, military, first responder, municipalities, service provider and telco markets.
