newGen Group is shortlisted in our Safety category in the 2021 Excellence Awards for the strides it has made with the introduction of new materials and products to the mining sector and in particular for its ArmourGRAPH solution.
ArmourGRAPH is a graphene enhanced material, which provides a fire retardant material for mining equipment with increased strength and wear resistance compared to current solutions, with initial trials suggesting a lifespan of six times longer than current materials . It can be used for a range of purposes including chute liners, pulley lagging, pipe lining and screen panels. During the research period the company also launched a spray elastomer as the latest edition to the line.
