Using Agglomerative Dust Suppression and Wind Breaks
By Dust Solutions, Inc.
Dry Fog dust suppression uses an agglomeration technique that can provide up to 99% dust suppression efficiency while adding less than 0.1% moisture to the process using only compressed air and water. Wind breaks are another technique used to prevent wind erosion and particle uptake from material stockpiles.
The purpose of this article is to provide a general background on the science and application of these two dust suppression methods.
