Redpath Australia Holdings, a subsidiary of Redpath Mining, has entered a share purchase agreement to acquire RUC Mining Contractors.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and is expected to be finalised by June 2024.

RUC, established in 1990, specialises in underground mining services including shaft sinking and raise drilling.

The company has a significant presence in Australia and operates globally with offices in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kalgoorlie, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Perth.

The integration of RUC into Redpath is expected to provide a more diverse range of services to clients and enhance opportunities for employees.

Both Redpath and RUC have emphasised their commitment to ensuring that current projects proceed without interruption.
