Vault Strategic Mining has outlined plans to carry out a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-based magnetic survey across its War Bond Tungsten Project in western Nevada, US.
The high-resolution Drone-Mag survey is expected to be delivered by Pioneer Exploration Consultants.

It will cover approximately 70km of flight lines at 25m intervals, supplemented by 250m tie lines to provide dense geophysical data over the area.
The War Bond Tungsten Project includes the historical War Bond, Tactite and Thursday mine sites and comprises 20 unpatented lode mining claims spanning approximately 400 acres in the Delaware Mining District.
The UAV survey aims to refine geological models, map structural features and help identify potential tungsten-related targets for future drilling.
Survey equipment will include the Blacksquare Hercules drone platform, a GEM Systems GSMP-35U potassium vapour magnetometer and GEM Systems GSM-19 Overhauser base stations.
The company said publicly available light detection and ranging data would be used to create digital elevation and surface models to enhance flight safety and data accuracy.
Planned deliverables include a logistics report, various processed magnetic maps and a micro-levelled magnetic dataset.
Historical data from the site, including records from the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology and Western Mining History, show tungsten mineralisation associated with scheelite-bearing tactite or skarn near granite-limestone contacts.
Past sampling produced selected results up to 14.4% tungsten trioxide, with further samples ranging from 0.25% to 0.9% tungsten trioxide.
The historical exploration data was collected prior to current reporting standards and should not be relied upon for resource estimates or economic evaluation.
The company has indicated that confirming any historical results will require new drilling, updated metallurgical studies and evaluations compliant with National Instrument 43-101, with no assurance that the previous findings will be validated.
Vault Strategic Mining CEO Quinn Field-Dyte said: “War Bond represents a compelling historical tungsten project in one of the world’s top mining jurisdictions, and our objective is to move aggressively but methodically toward drill-ready targets.
“This planned Drone-Mag survey is designed to give us a higher-resolution subsurface dataset that can be integrated with mapping, sampling, historical workings and structural interpretation. The goal is clear: delineate priority targets and build a disciplined drill programme.”
In May this year, the company signed a definitive mineral property purchase agreement to acquire full ownership of the Mirage-Mariposa Tungsten Mine within the Gray Eagle Project in California, as well as the North Tungsten Project in Nunavik, Quebec.
