Premier American Uranium has completed its 2024 exploration drilling programme at the Cyclone ISR Uranium Project in the Great Divide Basin, Wyoming.
This project, which is entirely owned by the company, has shown promising results with uranium mineralisation identified along an east-west trend.
The company noted that a total of 41 drill-holes were completed in the Cyclone Rim area, uncovering uranium mineralisation along a half-mile-long trend.
This trend remains open in multiple directions, indicating the potential for further discoveries. The drilling results have been encouraging, with intercepts up to 0.088% eU308 (equivalent triuranium octoxide) over a thickness of 10.5ft.
Of the 41 holes drilled, 11 encountered anomalous uranium mineralisation, with grades exceeding 0.01% eU308.
Notably, five of these holes returned grade thickness (GT) intercepts of 0.20 or greater, signifying substantial uranium presence.

By GlobalDataThe drilling initiative also began ahead of schedule in the Osborne Draw area, where five of the planned 36 holes have been completed.
Premier American Uranium CEO Colin Healey said: “We are pleased to have completed our inaugural exploration programme at the Cyclone project, which achieved all of our key objectives.
“Since our August exploration update, we have further confirmed the presence of uranium mineralisation of significant grade and thickness in the Cyclone Rim area, which is highly encouraging.
“Importantly, the programme has provided insights into the geological features that influenced the deposition of uranium mineralisation, advancing our understanding of the geological setting of the Cyclone Rim area, which we believe will aid in future drill programme design and maximise efficiency of exploration.”
Premier American Uranium added that the Osborne Draw area has also yielded positive results, with four out of five preliminary drill-holes revealing uranium mineralisation.
Three of these holes encountered multiple mineralised zones, with one showing a GT of 0.51 from an intercept of 0.021% eU308 over 24.5ft.
The majority of the drilling planned for Osborne Draw is set to take place in 2025, suggesting the potential for further significant findings.
Healey added: “The holes at Osborne Draw intercepted several intervals of uranium mineralisation, which is encouraging, and we look forward to drilling aggressively at Osborne Draw next summer.
“We believe our systematic exploration approach positions us for further success in 2025 where we look forward to further testing the potential of the Osborne Draw Target.”
