Equipment is planned to be delivered during the second quarter of 2017, with first gold production expected by the end of 2017.
Outotec Minerals Processing business unit head Kalle Härkki said: "Outotec has a large portfolio of offerings for treating various gold ores.
"We are pleased to have been given the opportunity to deliver our energy efficient grinding mills and advanced thickener technology to Endeavour’s Houndé gold project."

By GlobalDataThe Houndé project is located 250km south-west of Ouagadougou, the capital city of Burkina Faso and benefits from good infrastructure and also from Endeavour’s experience operating at the Youga gold mine, which is also located in Burkina Faso.
The property is within the Houndé greenstone belt and south of Semafo’s Mana mine.
On 5 February 2015, Endeavour received the Houndé mining permit.
