Noricum Gold has found significant gold and silver mineralisation in the remaining drill holes in its 2013 testing programme, at the Rotgulden gold and precious metals project in Austria.
The exploration and development firm said results included a 14m space at the RY04 site, which held 4.59g per tonne of gold, 26.28g per tonne of silver and 0.26% copper from 27m down.
Noricum added that its RY02 site held a 9m space with 3.49g per tonne of gold and 10.34g per tonne of silver from 39m in depth.
The results from the RY03 site included a 6m space at 3.8g per tonne of gold, 36.59g per tonne of silver and 0.19% copper from 24m down.
The company will incorporate the results from all 25 drilled holes into an initial JORC-compliant resource estimate for the Rotgulden underground mine, which is anticipated to be completed in the first half of this year.
Noricum will use the results to develop its 2014 drilling programme, which will be focused on two of four targets within the Rotgulden tenure.

By GlobalDataPlans include further underground resource and exploration drilling at the Rotgulden mine, along with a surface drill programme at the Altenberg target, 2km to the south of the Rotgulden underground mine.
Noricum Gold managing director Greg Kuenzel said within the 25 holes drilled underground at the Rotgulden mine, the company has seen a good range of results from very high grade intersections of 3.9m at 51.54g per tonne gold in hole XB01, to greater widths like that of the RZ04 hole of 6m at 17.41g per tonne of gold.
"We will now focus on the completion of the resource model and exploration target models being compiled by the Company’s resource consultant, H&S Consultants Pty Ltd," Kuenzel said.
"In addition, our soil sampling programme at Schonberg has been progressing well. The first batch of samples covering around one third of the area have now been sent to the lab for analysis."
