Makena Resources has revealed initial data on its Patterson Uranium prospect at the Athabasca Basin in Canada, which demonstrated multiple conductive anomalies within the prospect.
The company said that two distinctive anomalous zones were encountered at the prospect.
The southern zone holds three specific targets, of which northern target is a north-west trending area associated with a break in the formation in the direct vicinity of the conductive anomaly.
According to the company, a historical drill hole of 154m depth shows the basement of these zones to be relatively shallow.
Patterson Uranium prospect includes three claim blocks over 6,687ha, where the west block directly borders the recent discovery on the Patterson Lake South property by Alpha Minerals and Fission Energy.
The other two blocks are in the direct vicinity of the discovery.

By GlobalDataGeologist Karl Schimann said that the preliminary data on the prospect has been encouraging.
"Of particular note is the relationship of the conductive zones associated with the breaks in the magnetic pattern," Schimann said.
"We look forward to potentially confirming these anomalies by ground EM and follow by drilling to determine if these targets have associated uranium mineralisation."
Makena also has a 50% stake in the Clone property in Stewart, British Columbia. To date, the company has achieved significant drill results that returned grades of 12.80m of 44.75g per tonne of gold values comprising 4.87m of 76.80g per tonne of gold.
The company also achieved a 102t bulk sample that returned grades 139.2g per tonne of gold over the 102 individually tested samples.
