Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which accounted for 10% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were up by 41% year-on-year. Second highest were Construction and Extraction Occupations, which accounted for 9% and rise by 132% year-on-year, and third highest were Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations, which were 22% of the new job postings and 47% higher year-on-year.
