Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Scania has secured an order for 200 Scania P410 tipper trucks from Indian mining company BGR Mining & Infra.
The client received its 150th Scania vehicle in 2014, adding to its existing fleet of 246.
BGR Mining & Infra managing director Umapathi Reddy said: "Scania P410 tippers offer excellent performance and we are extremely satisfied with them.
"Since we started using these vehicles in our mining fields we have observed a clear increase in operational performance and efficiency. A special mention goes to the dedicated services of Scania."
Equipped with Scania Opticruise, the Scania P410 tipper is a completely automated gear-changing system for greater fuel efficiency and ease-of-driving.
The lightweight tipper is integrated with an optional idle shutdown feature that lowers fuel consumption and supports the total operating economy. With an increased load carrying capacity, the P410 model offers higher productivity.
