The approvals from the Department of Natural Resources, Newfoundland and Labrador will allow the company to support the 2021 summer field season at the properties.
The scope of work includes surface fieldwork, including geochemical surveys, ground geophysics, LIDAR and UAV surveys, airborne geophysics, camp establishment and prospecting.
C2C Gold said that its initial exploration efforts at the three properties would focus on advancing the high-priority gold targets to the drilling stage.
With a combined area of more than 1,150km², the Badger, Millertown, and Barrens Lake projects are located within the Central Newfoundland Gold Belt.
In a press statement, C2C Gold said: “Companies working on active gold projects within this belt and the broader Exploits Subzone have noted the similarity in geological setting and character with both the Abitibi greenstone belts in Ontario and Quebec, Canada and the Bendigo-Fosterville gold deposits in Australia.”
Located 7km from the Badger community and close to Great Atlantic Resources’ Golden Promise property, the Badger property comprises four licences holding 1,910 claims covering 477.5km².
