Mining scopes

INLINE Systems offers Schölly mining fiberscopes for colliery roof and floor control. These scopes may be used to inspect roof and floor lithology, crack patterns, fracturing and rock types.

The German-made Schölly mining fiberscopes are constructed for tough industrial handling, with five layers of protective coverings - stainless-steel, nylon, PVC and silicon protect the fiber bundle from external damage and ingress of water or dust. The sheathing offers excellent resistance to crushing and over bending and stretching. The fiber bundle itself represents state-of-the-art in fiber technology. Schölly uses a unique single fused quartz fiber made up of thousands of individual image points or pixels with a diameter of just 3µm each.

Schölly mining scopes can also be custom built to your desired length and diameter depending on your application.
